ARTIST BIO

Helena Domenic Anderson has been interested in the mystical
and magical all of her life. Born in Italy, Ms. Anderson was exposed
to art at a very early age, touring the Sistine Chapel at a year and
a half old - apparently the experience has never left her!

Helena began the pictures you see in this gallery in 2005,
embarking on a new, mixed media phase of her art. All of the
pictures here are a combination of watercolor, graphite, colored
pencil and pen and ink. She is inspired by the Realm of Faerie,
the Realm of Myth and the vagaries of every day life.

In day to day life, Helena teaches art and art history at
Cheyney University in Cheyney, PA. She lives outside
Philadelphia with three very ornery and beautiful Maine Coon cats.
