ARTIST BIO

Alison Dawn Blydenburgh grew up in rural Connecticut, where
her neighborhood consisted of horse and sheep farms, magical
forests and babbling brooks. The acreage of her parent's Newtown
home was the center of entertainment for her as she explored the
woods, ponds, fields, and one very special faerie ring for whatever
creatures she could find; she uses her childhood memories along with
her background in veterinary science to further her circle of characters.
Alison is a self taught artist who draws her inspiration from her small son
and her passion for wildlife in all of its forms.

Alison lives in Saint Augustine, Florida with her greatest creation, son Kirk.
