ARTIST BIO

I am a self-taught artist from Guelph, Ontario. I mainly do faery and
fantasy artwork. I’ve been researching faeries since I was a child.
My inspiration comes from everything around me, from music, movies,
mythology, faerytales and especially nature and my dreams. I’ve been
drawing since I was first able to pick up a pencil. I primarily work in
coloured pencil because of the detail I can achieve with them. I usually
use Derwent because you can layer it many times, and Prismacolour
for their blendability and their strong vibrant colours. I also like using
watercolour with my coloured pencil because it adds a smooth look.
I do fantasy artwork so people can get out of everyday stress and bring
out their imagination and their inner child,…the curiousity of life
