ARTIST BIO

I grew up in the upper midwest, where I still reside today. My Mom
and Dad gave me an enchanting childhood filled with smiles, love and
everything a little girl could want. Many hours of my younger years were
spent with my mother doodling and doing crafts, in between a hectic
schedule of dance lessons, which I loved! In 1999, I lost my Dad to a
long battle against a terminal illness. It was then when I stuck myself back
into creating, and found I had a real passion for it. And so it begins...

My work is inspired by my childhood, and love and belief in the Faeries.
I now have 2 little girls of my own, Hayley (10) and Liv, (8), both who take
dance lessons at the very same dance school I did. They love it just as I did,
so I feel as if I am re-living my younger years, vicariously through them!
It's magic, totally.

All of my work right now is digital. It has become my favorite medium, for
the simple fact that if I goof something up I can erase it without ruining the paper!
