ARTIST BIO

Selina was born in November 1981 and lives in Australia. She has
been drawing since she had the adequate fine motor skills to hold a
crayon and themes of magic and fantasy have shown up in her artwork
since a very young age. Selina is inspired by fairytales, mythology and
most of all nature. She sees magic in every tree and drop of rain and this
is what she wants to create in her art.

Selina has always loved to draw and paint, but never knew she wanted
to be an artist, or that she even could until she put a few of her artworks
on the internet and comments and requests for prints and commissions
started to flood in. Since then she has been chasing the dream of being
a professional artist and has done many commissioned artworks and sent
her prints to people around the world.

Selina works mostly in watercolour with some gouache, coloured pencil,
or other mediums added to the process as she sees fit. Up until she was
twenty she worked almost primarily in graphite pencil, and still occasionally
returns to this first love. For her fantasy role playing game artwork Selina
works with a pressure sensitive drawing tablet for the computer, creating
artworks digitally in programs like Photoshop.
