Dear Enchanted Artists forum members...

We are writing to inform you that we are taking down the forum at Enchanted Artists. The site itself will remain and continue on, but we will no longer support a forum on it.

What was once a fun, safe place to post and visit, has turned into a place of unrest, negativity and back stabbing. We know this happens often with forums, especially as they grow. It is an unfortunate thing, but we cannot support these actions any longer.

Many of you were nothing but positive members, bringing light to the table, and to you we apologize. It's always a shame when a few members have to ruin something for the masses.

However, Julie and I both are far too busy to try to maintain control over every aspect of such a large forum, and it doesn't seem fair to let it go on like this. It hadn't been a problem until lately when members starting sending biting darts toward eachother regarding quality of art in a book, the tardiness of the art show going up, etc. In a perfect world, Julie and I would try to regain some positivity in the forum again, but we simply don't have time to do this.

We wish you all the best with your art careers, and encourage you to gather in other places to support eachother. Of course, we will not be allowing the use of the name Enchanted Artists, for other forums or sites not associated with ours. I myself have legally registered the trademark Enchanted Art a few weeks ago to use as my official logo through the United States government and an attorney specializing in trademarking names. Enchanted Artists is a variable of this now trademarked name, and therefore, I felt it necessary to let you know that while we encourage you to gather in forums and groups elsewhere, it will need to be under a new name. Maybe a new name is just want is needed here anyhow, a fresh start...a way to bring some positivity back to the mix. At the end of the day, we are all artists trying to express ourselves and make a living while doing it. Support from other artists can only help achieve this, but negativity from other artists can really hamper this...so please respect eachother.

We would like to personally thank all those members who have been kind and supportive to eachother, and who have really cared about this forum. It is sad to see it go, but we do feel it is time.

Again, the galleries and the rest of the Enchanted Artists site will remain as always. Only the forum will be removed.

Best wishes for the future,

Jessica Galbreth and Julie Fain
