ARTIST BIO

Victoria Griffin was born in 1972 and raised in Oconee County,
among the beautiful forests, mountains and foothills of the "Golden
Corner" of South Carolina. Mainly a self-taught artist, Victoria embarked
upon her first creative explorations at an early age. Her love of fantasy and
folklore have fueled her life-long facination with the paranormal and
metaphysical realm. The creatures of Faerie are her Muses and her
goal is to offer a glimpse into their world thru her images. She uses
watercolor, ink, graphite pencil, PrismaColor markers and colored
pencils to create her pieces. Her artwork has appeared on the covers
of "Aquarius: A Sign of The Times" and the "Circle of Stones Journal".
Aside from her art, Victoria is also a published poet, amateur photographer
and former radio disc-jockey. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking,
listening to music and star gazing. She lives in a small farming community
in the upstate area of South Carolina with her husband Jerold, a dog
(Arawn), cat (Bronte) and four spoiled little ferrets (Taco, Winter,
Harley and Frodo).
