ARTIST BIO

Michelle Parker specializes in works of fantasy and
myth with a Celtic flavor. Over the past several years
she has concentrated on developing her skills with
Celtic knotwork, and incorporates the woven ribbons
and spirals into the majority of her work, finding
that working with the tiny twists and turns of a
complicated piece can be much like meditation.

She created her intricately detailed images in many
and varied media, including pen and ink, pencil,
pastel, colored pencil, watercolor, acrylic, oils, and
digital. She finds a great deal of joy in working with
unfamiliar techniques and in seeking out what each has
to offer.
